“Things Are Gonna Change” (2023)

This is our first single off of our upcoming EP, titled “Things Are Gonna Change”. The album will be released on JULY 7TH, 2023!

“We wrote this song with our friend and collaborator Drew Ramsey in Nashville. We had a show in Memphis the night before and while we were on the way to Drew’s house, we were listening through old voice memos on Maggie’s phone. There was one of her singing just that line, “things are gonna change around here.” I knew that would be the one we’d finish that day. In this one, the main character finally starts to look inward. “Lookin’ for someone to blame and I’ll be damned if it wasn’t me.” They’re finally realizing that if things are ever going to change, they have to put in the work and change themselves. “Do the time gonna leave it behind and I’m finally free.” This is where they really start to turn the corner.” - Ryan

“Say It Like You Mean It” (2023)

“I wrote this song back in 2020. It was originally about half the tempo. I found an old voice memo of me strumming it on an acoustic and for some reason a light bulb went off and I thought it would sound really cool with the band if we sped it up. I was in a pretty dark place mentally when I wrote it but I was finally starting to see some light. The main character is a hopeless romantic. Head over heels for someone that doesn’t treat them well, but finally gaining the courage to ask for their needs to be met, even if those needs are well below the bare minimum. It’s not much, but it’s progress.” - Ryan

“My Old Friend” (2022)

We released ‘My Old Friend’ as a tribute to our brother Todd and all the others that our community has lost recently. Todd recorded this in his home studio and if you listen closely during the choruses, you can hear him singing harmony. We hope that this song can bring comfort to those who need it.

“Sister” (2019)

“Sister” is Magnolia Boulevard’s debut single, released on November 1st, 2019, to coincide with the young band’s first major tour - supporting Blues Traveler on the 25th anniversary tour of the seminal album 'four'. A slow-burning, soul-stirring ode to companionship and sisterhood written by lead singer Maggie Noelle about her best friend, “Sister” is the type of song - and Noelle is the type of singer and lyricist - that doesn’t come around very often, and that can stop you dead in your tracks on first listen.

“Ride” is the second single by Magnolia Boulevard, released on May 1st, 2020. Contrary to the style of their debut, “Sister,” "Ride" showcases a different but equally important aspect of the band’s strong musical pedigree. It's an upbeat expression with clear funk and soul influences that explores the art of finding joy in the little things in life - the things that are so easily taken for granted in modern times.

LIVE in BIG SKY (2021)

Recorded live in Big Sky, Montana for the Music In The Mountains Concert Series on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021 and released as a Bandcamp exclusive, ‘Live in Big Sky’ finds Magnolia Boulevard in rare live form. A note from the band about the album: “On July 22, 2021 we played the "Music in the Mountains" series in Big Sky, MT. It was our first show in Montana. Actually, it was the first time any of us in the band had been there. Obviously we were fascinated by how beautiful everything was, but the warm presence and kindness of the people there somehow overshadowed the breathtaking scenery. This event was in the Town Centre and in conjunction with PBR (Professional Bull Riding), which proved to be an enthusiastic crowd. We are so excited to be able to release this on Bandcamp. This was one of Todd's last 7-8 shows of his life, and honestly maybe his best. We weren't able to do a proper mix/master as this is just the board recording, but we felt it needed to be in the world. We cannot thank you enough for your deep love and continued support.”
This is dedicated to our brother, Todd Copeland. We miss you and think of you each and every day that goes by.

New Illusion - EP (2020)

Magnolia Boulevard’s debut EP, ‘New Illusion’, is a pure indicator of the young band’s sound; stunningly fluid and versatile, yet never forced or unfamiliar. There’s plenty of blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll in the mix, but also elements of funk, jam-band, folk, country, bluegrass, and psychedelia. It’s all fueled by the rhythm section’s elastic grooves, shot through with Gregg Erwin’s expressive and incisive slide guitar licks, and topped by Maggie Noelle’s soul-stirring, downright powerhouse vocals. Thus, ‘New Illusion’ can be seen as the perfect sampler; an easily digestible listen that at once showcases Magnolia Boulevard’s present-day foundation, while hinting at a future full of promise and possibility.
